Urbano Trattoria set out to carve a unique space in the restaurant scene by blending Italian-American urban cuisine with a casual dining experience. While rooted in traditional Italian culinary techniques and culture, the brand infused a modern, approachable flair to appeal to urban diners. This fusion-focused approach aimed to introduce authentic flavors to bustling city communities.
To better understand the brand’s direction, I analyzed the characteristics of traditional Italian mom-and-pop restaurants and compared them to large-scale chains like Olive Garden. This research revealed valuable insights into the lifestyles of Urbano Trattoria’s target audience. For instance, their patrons often seek vibrant social settings for gathering with friends, enjoy classic dishes like pasta, pizza, and wine, and are eager to explore new culinary experiences. These findings perfectly aligned with the restaurant’s vision, shaping its identity and appeal.
